QualEx’s current employment group consists of engineers, project managers, procurement and project services personnel, designers, draftspersons and administrative staff. The majority of our employees work within our engineering offices located in Mt. Vernon, Indiana and Paducah, Kentucky and may be required to occasionally enter our client’s facilities to gather data or attend meetings to accomplish assignments. Current Career Opportunities
Senior Electrical Engineer- Primary duties include preparation of drawings and documentation for power distribution, lighting, motor control communications, heat tracing, grounding systems, instrument plans, circuit schedules and instrument loop drawings. Candidates with 5 years minimum experience desired. Recent graduates will be considered, BSEE degree required, P.E. a plus.
Electrical Engineer (Mt. Vernon location)- Primary duties include preparation of drawings and documentation for power distribution, lighting, motor controls, communications, heat tracing, grounding systems, instrumentation plans, circuit schedules and instrument loop drawings. BSEE degree and excellent communication skills required, as well as ability to function in a team environment.
Structural Designer Postion- This position will work in either our Mount Vernon, Indiana office or our Louisville, Kentucky office. Some experience in the industrial market is preferred but all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be determined by skills, education, and experience. Commute/relocation will be required. The successful applicant will assist the Project Manager and Engineers in developing working documents related to the design of site grading and drainage, building and equipment foundations, and steel structures. You will primarily work with AutoCAD (proficiency is required) and MultiSteel but may occasionally work with other software packages to draft and edit civil/structural engineering documents for industrial clients.
Designers Piping - Experience with preparation of piping plans/isometrics and field verification of P&IDs.
Designers - A minimum of 3 years experience in the industrial market with ability to gather field information for design is preferred. Experience with AutoCAD required and 3D experience a plus.
